मंगलवार को टीवी शो ‘इमली’ के सेट पर करंट लगने से एक लाइटमैन की मौत हो गई। गोरेगांव फिल्मसिटी में चल रही इस सीरियल की शूटिंग के दौरान शाम 5 बजे महेंद्र यादव नाम के इस शख्स को करंट लगा।
महज 23 वर्षीय महेंद्र को तुरंत नजदीकी सरकारी अस्पताल ले जाया गया, जहां डॉक्टर ने उसे मृत घोषित कर दिया। इस बात की जानकारी देते हुए AICWA (ऑल इंडियन सिने वर्कर्स एसोसिएशन) के अध्यक्ष सुरेश गुप्ता ने एक वीडियो शेयर किया है।
इसे शेयर करते हुए सुरेश ने महाराष्ट्र के मुख्यमंत्री से मांग की है कि शो के प्रोडूसर और प्रोडक्शन हाउस व चैनल पर मनुष्यवाद का मुकदमा दर्ज हो। साथ ही लाइटमैन महेंद्र के परिवार को 50 लाख रुपए की राशि दी जाए।
फिल्मसिटी में इससे पहले भी कई हादसे हो चुके हैं। हाल ही में यहां एक सेट पर आग लगी थी। इसके अलावा सेट पर अजगर भी मिला और तेंदुआ भी हमला कर चुका है।
हादसा दबाने में प्रशासन सहयोग करता है
वीडियो में सुरेश ने कहा- ‘फिल्मसिटी में आए दिन कोई-ना-कोई हादसा हो रहा है। ऐस इसलिए क्योंकि सेट पर कोई सेफ्टी रखी नहीं जा रही है। कल से ही इस मामले को दबाने की बहुत कोशिश की जा रही थी। हमारी इंडस्ट्री में कई हादसों को दबा दिया जाता है क्योंकि प्रशासन का पूरा सहयोग रहता है।’
मेकर्स और चैनल भी कोई सेफ्टी नहीं रखते
सुरेश ने आगे कहा, ‘आगे कई और जानें जाएंगी। ऐसे कई हादसे होते आए हैं और होते रहेंगे क्योंकि प्रशासन कोई ठोस कदम नहीं उठा रहा है। प्रोडक्शन हाउस, प्रोड्यूसर्स और चैनल भी सेट पर सेफ्टी नहीं रखते हैं। कई अधिकारी इनका पूरा सपोर्ट भी करते हैं।’

AICWA का अध्यक्ष होने के नाते सुरेश ने महाराष्ट्र के मुख्यमंत्री एकनाथ शिंदे से 3 मांगें की हैं।
- शो के प्रोड्यूसर गुल खान, प्रोडक्शन हाउस 4 लॉयन फिल्म्स और चैनल पर एक्शन लें।
- जिस मजदूर की जान गई है उसके परिवार को 50 लाख रुपए दिए जाएं।
- फिल्म सिटी के मैनेजिंग डायरेक्टर और आयुक्त का तत्काल प्रभाव से इस्तीफा दें।
मुंबई स्थित इस फिल्म सिटी में हर रोज कई शोज की शूटिंग होती है। ये जगह संजय गांधी नेशनल पार्क से लगी हुई है।
