डॉ. लिखी ने वैकुंठ मेहता राष्ट्रीय सहकारी प्रबंधन संस्थान (वैमनीकॉम) में “शहद की निर्यात क्षमता को मजबूत बनाने” पर कार्यशाला का उद्घाटन किया
कृषि और किसान कल्याण मंत्रालय, कृषि और किसान कल्याण विभाग में अपर सचिव डॉ. अभिलक्ष लिखी ने आज महाराष्ट्र में पुणे स्थित वैकुंठ मेहता राष्ट्रीय सहकारी प्रबंधन संस्थान (वैमनीकॉम), में “शहद की निर्यात क्षमता को मजबूत बनाने” पर आयोजित कार्यशाला की अध्यक्षता की। इसका आयोजन राष्ट्रीय मधुमक्खी बोर्ड (एनबीबी) ने किया।
कार्यशाला में डॉ. लिखी ने कार्यशाला के दौरान एफपीओ द्वारा निर्मित मधुमक्खी मोम उत्पादों का शुभारंभ किया। वैमनीकॉम, पुणे में एक सहकारी शहद परियोजना स्थापित करने का भी निर्णय लिया गया। कार्यशाला में शहद के निर्यात को बढ़ावा देने के लिए भविष्य की रणनीतियों के बारे में शहद प्रसंस्करणकर्ताओं/ निर्यातकों और एफपीओ/कृषि स्टार्ट अप्स ने अपने अनुभव साझा किए।
डॉ. लिखी ने आग्रह किया कि छोटे और सीमांत मधुमक्खी पालक किसानों को लाभकारी आमदनी के लिए सशक्त बनाने के उद्देश्य से सभी हितधारकों यानी सूक्ष्म, लघु और मध्यम उद्यम मंत्रालय (एमएसएमई) / खादी और ग्रामोद्योग आयोग (केवीआईसी), मधुमक्खी समितियों और एजेंसियों जैसे एनडीडीबी, नैफेड और ट्राइफैड को शामिल करते हुए राष्ट्रीय मधुमक्खी पालन और शहद मिशन (एनबीएचएम) के तहत प्रयास किए जाने चाहिए।

वर्तमान में, लगभग 12,699 मधुमक्खी पालक और 19.34 लाख मधुमक्खियाँ कालोनियां राष्ट्रीय मधुमक्खी बोर्ड के साथ पंजीकृत हैं और भारत लगभग 1,33,200 मीट्रिक टन शहद (2021-22 दूसरे अग्रिम अनुमान) का उत्पादन कर रहा है। भारत दुनिया के प्रमुख शहद निर्यातक देशों में से एक है और 2021-22 के दौरान उसने 1221.17 करोड़ रुपये मूल्य के 74,413 मीट्रिक टन शहद का निर्यात किया है। भारत में शहद उत्पादन का 50 प्रतिशत से अधिक अन्य देशों को निर्यात किया जा रहा है। भारत लगभग 83 देशों को शहद निर्यात करता है। भारतीय शहद के प्रमुख बाजार अमेरिका, सऊदी अरब, संयुक्त अरब अमीरात, बांग्लादेश, कनाडा, आदि हैं। सरसों शहद, यूकेलिप्टस शहद, लीची शहद, सूरजमुखी शहद, पोंगामिया शहद, बहु-वनस्पति हिमालय शहद, बबूल शहद और जंगली वनस्पति शहद भारत से निर्यात किए जाने वाले शहद की कुछ प्रमुख किस्में हैं। राष्ट्रीय मधुमक्खी पालन एवं शहद मिशन (एनबीएचएम) एनबीएचएम के तहत अब तक स्वीकृत 133.31 करोड़ रुपये की सहायता से कुल 102 परियोजनाओं को मंजूरी मिल चुकी है।
भारत से निर्यात किए गए उत्पादों की गुणवत्ता की निगरानी सरकार द्वारा वाणिज्य विभाग और वाणिज्य और उद्योग मंत्रालय के माध्यम से भारतीय निर्यात निरीक्षण परिषद (ईआईसी) कानून के तहत की जाती है। वाणिज्य और उद्योग मंत्रालय के तहत वाणिज्य विभाग ने खाद्य आयात और निर्यात के लिए व्यापार नीति तैयार की। एपीडा शहद सहित कृषि खाद्य उत्पादों के निर्यातकों को विभिन्न प्रोत्साहन और वित्तीय सहायता प्रदान करता है।
एनबीएचएम के तहत गतिविधियों के कार्यान्वयन के लिए “10,000 किसान उत्पादक संगठनों के गठन की योजना के तहत, मधुमक्खी पालकों/शहद उत्पादकों के 100 एफपीओ ट्राइफेड (14 नंबर), नेफेड (60 नंबर) और एनडीडीबी (26 नंबर) को आवंटित किए गए हैं। इस प्रकार एनबीबी को आवंटित कुल 105 एफपीओ में से, अब तक मधुमक्खी पालकों/शहद उत्पादकों के 77 एफपीओ पंजीकृत/गठित किए गए हैं। कृषि और किसान कल्याण मंत्रालय ने शहद और अन्य बीहाइव उत्पादों का पता लगाने का रिकॉर्ड बनाए रखने के लिए एक ऑनलाइन “मधुक्रांति पोर्टल” भी विकसित किया है।
